"80 mph" is a poetry collection written by Patricio Maya, who was born in Ecuador, and resides in California. This project is an attempt at designing a book cover and editorial design that reflects Maya's experiences as a migrant while providing insights into the complexity of a poet for whom familiarity with both darkness and light led to the creation of beautiful poetry.
